Dr. Barrett

Dr. Martin Barrett graduated Cum Laude from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. After Boston College, Dr. Barrett received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. Following graduation, he completed a dental residency at the Brockton Veterans Administration Hospital in Brockton, MA, where he received advanced dental training.

After his residency, Dr. Barrett began teaching at Tufts School of Dental Medicine and worked his way up the academic ladder. He is presently an Assistant Clinical Professor in the department of Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry. The Doctor was also an externship preceptor for the Dental Assistant Program at Community College of Rhode Island. Dr. Barrett has lectured in the United States as well as internationally and is listed in Who’s Who in Dentistry in both the U.S. and International editions. The Doctor is a member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society.

Along with his academic accomplishments, Dr. Barrett’s main focus is his private practice in North Attleboro, MA. He applies tried and true techniques from the academic world in his practice.

Dr. Barrett’s long term commitment is to the North Attleboro community where he lives and is raising his family. He is the husband of the late Susan J. Barrett and the father of two daughters, Catherine and Susanne. They are both graduates of Bishop Feehan High School and recently of Providence College. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Barrett enjoys playing tennis, fishing, boating, cooking, and Boston College Football and Hockey.
